Incident narrative

SaferProducts.gov consumer incident report 20260720-3C9A4-2147313660. Severity: Injury, First Aid Received by Non-Medical Professional. Matched catalog product: Frigidaire EFMIS175-BLACK. Incident: The outer glass on the oven door of our electric range Frigidaire glass top burst and shattered spontaneously while I was making cookies. The temperature was 350 and wasnt on for more than 30-45 minutes. I was standing next to it but didnt bump it, my small child was behind me playing with our dog. I got cut on my foot a couple times from the tiny glass pieces as it burst outwardly. Luckily no one else was hurt and I kept them away while cleaning it, but it was very startling to hear it and see the glass everywhere.
