Incident narrative

SaferProducts.gov consumer incident report 20260728-D98FE-2147313263. Severity: Injury, Seen by Medical Professional. Product: Copper Bullet 17192 (Product is Copper BulletPocket-hose 50' costco item #1843137 Model 17192). Incident: I used a water hose sold from costco to have a quick drink. I let run for awhile before drinking out of. Also Used the fresh clean water for a waterpipe. I immediately went into anaphylaxis. I was unaware the hose leeches latex rubber even with it flushed water is still tainted. I have been suffering for 3 weeks, difficulty breathing until i realized now I have Latex-fruit syndrome and have a very restricted diet. I am worried a child will drink from this hose and die from anaphylaxis. I am unable to eat the normal foods I ate before without going into an anaphylatic shock. even the least sensitive like coconut oil will cause me to have difficulty breathing. I can only eat meat safely. Unable to eat dairy as the enzymes could be plant based causing me difficulty breathing. I originally thought it was asthma and setup a dr visit for an inhaler. However, my chest xray was clear. After cutting all latex-fruit syndrome products out of my diet I am able to breath freely.
