Incident narrative

SaferProducts.gov consumer incident report 20260809-107A3-2147312681. Severity: No Incident, No Injury. Matched catalog product: LG LTE4815ST. Incident: Our stove, an LG LTE4815ST, Serial number 910KMXY0F818, has twice now said it is locked but the burners will turn on. We have had to have this repaired once at a significant cost. The repair occurred on January 22, 2026. It has again failed and the display will show locked, the top burners will activate, but the oven will not function. LG had issued a product safety warning that the burners could be accidentally activated and to use the lock feature when not in use. This could lead to a dangerous fire.
