Incident: cription of the Safety Hazard:I am filing this report to alert safety tracking authorities to an extreme and dangerous product failure that presents an immediate household fire risk. Approximately five months into standard use, this GreenLife appliance developed severe manufacturing defects:Failure to Shut Off: The unit failed to power down when programmed or instructed to stop, remaining actively energized and continuously heating.Severe Overheating: The main electrical power cord and wall plug became dangerously hot to the touch during brief operation.Active Melting & Fumes: The internal wiring and external plastic housing began actively melting, filling my kitchen with thick, toxic chemical fumes.Incident Details:Because the unit was actively melting, it posed an immediate threat to my home and household. I immediately disconnected the unit from the power source and ceased all use. I contacted the manufacturer regarding this critical product failure. While the company ultimately issued a financial remedy after an extended delay, the physical defect of the machine remains a significant public safety concern.Requested Action:I request that the Consumer Product Safety Commission log this defect and evaluate this product line for potential systemic engineering flaws. An investigation may be required to determine if a formal product recall is necessary to protect other consumers from potential house fires or toxic smoke inhalation.
