SaferProducts.gov consumer incident report 20260921-AC9A1-2147309437. Severity: Injury, No First Aid or Medical Attention Received. Product: Frigidaire Model Number FCRG3052BS (Frigidaire free standing gas range Model Number: FCRG3052BS Serial Number: VF60757413). Incident: Frigidaire Model Number: FCRG3052BS Serial Number: VF60757413. Installed by Home Depot contracted installer Aug 4, 2026. I set oven to 400 and placed cast iron pot with vegetables in the oven to steam for an hour. About an hour later, my separate plug in co2/gas alarm activated with number 218 and "Gas" flashing. I turned oven off and tryed to turn off alarm. It zero-ed out, then went off again. Then a third time. I called 911. Fire Dept came out and detected high levels of gas throughout the house (small house). They turned off the valve at the back of the range. Opened windows and doors and turned on fans. About an hour or more later, gas level reading was at 1. Said it was safe to stay but to not use range (keep valve off). When they left, I lifted lid on vegetables. They had not cooked through after an hour in what was supposed to be a 400 degree oven. Also, back right burner is loud and forceful, like a torch.
