$8,000

Original-owner 2016 Honda Pilot Touring FWD with about 79,000 miles, maintained only at Honda dealers, had repeated transmission warnings, limp-mode events, software updates, and paid repairs including about $1,700 in September 2025. On a family road trip the transmission warning and limp mode returned after dealers said it was safe to drive; a later Honda dealer quoted about $8,000 for transmission replacement. Honda Customer Care offered only 10% goodwill assistance and denied further help.
