While traveling at approximately 70–80 mph in light drizzle with no prior warning lights, the vehicle suddenly entered an uncontrolled spin multiple times. A grinding noise was heard during the spin. After the vehicle stopped, brake and parking brake system warning lights appeared on the dashboard. The incident was recorded on video.

While driving at 46 MPH in heavy rain, a warning appeared indicating the pre-collision sensor was blocked. Shortly after, the vehicle lost motive power and displayed a 'Steering power is low' message, then stalled and would not restart. The following day it restarted briefly before stalling again with a 'Pre-collision malfunction' message. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired by the dealer.
