SaferProducts.gov consumer incident report 20260802-27A28-2147313028. Severity: Injury, First Aid Received by Non-Medical Professional. Product: Casely Model Number E33A (Casely Power Pods, Model Number E33A). Incident: I am writing regarding my Casely Wireless Portable Power Bank (Model E33A), which I have since learned was subject to a recall due to the risk of fire. I was completely unaware that this product had been recalled. Given the severity of the known fire hazard, I am shocked and extremely disappointed that I never received any direct written notification warning me to stop using the product. On the evening of Saturday August 1, 2026, I was sitting on my sectional sofa using my Casely Wireless Portable Power Bank with my Casely phone case to charge my phone as intended. Without any warning, the power bank suddenly burst into flames while it was beside me. I immediately threw it away from myself to prevent further injury. The burning power bank landed on the sofa and surrounding furnishings, igniting nearby materials. Within seconds, our smoke alarms activated, and I was screaming for help while my husband ran into the room to extinguish the fire. Our child and our three dogs were in the home and were understandably terrified by the incident. The power bank was being used exactly as Casely designed and marketed it to be used, in conjunction with a Casely phone case for wireless charging. This was ordinary, intended use of the product. I had no reason to believe it posed an imminent fire hazard because I had never received any direct notice of the recall. As a direct result of this incident: My husband sustained burns to his foot while extinguishing the fire. My clothing was burned and ruined. Our sectional sofa sustained significant burn damage. Our area rug was burned. Our [REDA
