Incident: I went into my child's bedroom and smelled burning plastic. I unplugged everything in their room but never found the source of the burning smell. The next day I went to plug their Yoto player in (surprised that I needed to, because I could've sworn I charged it last night) and discovered that the Yoto player charger was melted.

Hazard: The product presents a risk of electric shock as it has been identified that there is a manufacturing defect involving the UK plug adaptor. In some cases, this could cause the UK plug adaptor to break when the user attempts to remove the plug from the socket, leaving live pins exposed. If the user were to touch these live parts, they could receive an electric shock. The product does not meet the requirements of the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016 or the Plugs & Sockets etc. (Safety) Regulations 1994.
