Incident: My Bosch Dishwasher was NOT included in the updated recall, but it overheated and melted the switch/junction box it is connected to under the sink. Bosch denies it has to do with the dishwasher, but my electrician says the braided wiring from the dishwasher power cord was to blame.

SaferProducts.gov consumer incident report 20230127-14C4C-2147351131. Severity: Incident, No Injury. Matched catalog product: Bosch SHP65T. Source model text: SHP65T55UC/02. Incident: While removing dishes from my Bosch dishwater I felt like a razor had cut through my thump? I was surprised when I looked down at the "posts" that hold the dished in place to find first that the rubber/plastic that coats these posts had melted and rusted razors protrudes out shooting straight up. I have included several pictures, though the may be hard to see. These are very scary to say the least. I paid a lot of money because I always trusted Bosc products. Even if there were some technical or industrial reason for these razors, It is deeply disturbing to see these and know the could easily inflict great pain if you din't know they were there. This dishwasher is in my kitchen. It is used daily. First why would the coating melt and second why are there razor blades installed?

SaferProducts.gov consumer incident report 20180306-3C477-2147389484. Matched catalog product: Bosch SHP65T. Source model text: SHP65T56UC/01, FD941200651. Incident: I own a Bosch dishwasher, model numberSHP65T56UC/01, FD941200651. On Friday 3/2/18 the dishwasher stopped working completely as it was receiving no power. On Sunday 3/4 we pulled it out to find that the junction box and connecting wires were black and charred. They had clearly burnt up. We were very fortunate that this didn't ignite an actual fire in the house. Upon researching online I came across the recall notice for Bosch (https://www.cpsc.gov/Recalls/2018/BSH-Home-Appliances-Expands-Recall-of-Dishwasher) but my serial number range (9412) is slightly outside the stated recall range (which only extends to 9403. This recall clearly needs to be expand to later models.

SaferProducts.gov consumer incident report 20200131-95167-1944200. Severity: Incident, No Injury. Product: Bosch SHP65T (Bosch Dishwasher Model # SHP65T Serial # 9409031302). Incident: My husband and I have a Bosch dishwasher, that suddenly stopped working. We contacted Bosch customer service, who gave us the name of a Bosch approved service provider in our area ([REDACTED]) and we had that provider out. After looking at the dishwasher, [REDACTED] determined it was a faulty cord, and advised us this is an active recall issue in our exact dishwasher model. The cord was completely charred - THIS COULD HAVE STARTED A FIRE IN OUR HOME, AND IN FACT, OTHER MODELS WITH THIS ISSUE HAVE STARTED FIRES, HENCE THE RECALL. While the [REDACTED] service provider was still at our home, my husband and [REDACTED] again called the Bosch customer service, and they advised us our model's serial number was outside of the recall, but we can still submit a claim if we provide purchase and service receipts. They emailed my husband with a list of items needed for such a claim and all such items were submitted. THIS EMAIL DOES NOT SAY PHOTOS OF THE DISHWASHER OR SERVICE ARE REQUIRED, NOR DID [REDACTED], THE BOSCH APPROVED SERVICE PROVIDER, KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT TAKING PHOTOS. I have this email and can provide it. As such, no photos were taken at the time of service. About a week later, we then received a call from Bosch customer service that we needed pictures of the cord prior to the service being done for this to be covered. Of course at this time, it was too late to get such photos, and their customer service denied our claim. This repair was half the cost of a new dishwasher. When asked, the customer service department would not even provide a written explanation of why our claim
