Government / agencyIndexed Oct 28, 2026Source-linkedVerify source — SaferProducts.gov incident

SaferProducts.gov consumer incident report 20221224-D3AEC-2147351884. Severity: Incident, No Injury. Matched catalog product: Frigidaire FGGF3032MFE. Incident: We cleaned our Frigidaire oven on 12/20, as we have done simply before, but this time the glass shattered at the end of the cycle when I opened the door after the oven unlocked. Worse , it shattered into shards and large pieces and we have no safe way to dispose of the glass and obviously can't use the oven. I'm not sure why glass windows are even really needed in most kitchen ovens when few of us are cooking delicacies that require constant sight. That said, this was very scary and unsafe.

SaferProducts.gov consumer incident report 20170828-AEAB6-2147397840. Severity: Injury, No First Aid or Medical Attention Received. Product: Frigidaire FGGF3032MFE (My mother-in-law has a Frigidaire Range Model#FGGF3032MFE. Her Carbon Monoxide detector went off several times. After questioning her as to what she was doing when it went off. She was cooking on the stove top each time. I replicated her action and after an hour a half or boiling water on the stove top the CO detector went off. I contacted Fire Dept who responded and confirmed elevated levels of CO. They checked the stove top and confirmed high level of CO being produced by range. I contacted a repairman who checked for gas leaks and burners which he did not find. Burners displayed a blue clean burn. I contact Frigidaire tech support which was no help whatsoever. It could be a serious issue being ignored. I have several videos I would like to forward with CO meter borrowed from local Fire Dept which show the issue. It occurs when a pot is placed on the quick boil burner. CO meter show it emitting over 200ppm. I'm sure this is going unnoticed by many consumers.). Incident: My mother-in-law has a Frigidaire Range Model#FGGF3032MFE.
