Incident: Stove control knobs turn by themselves or with an unnoticed touch. Fire hazard. Food burned, oven-safe items on stove top shattered. Incident: Was baking some potatoes in the oven and took them out, and when transferring them to a container I brushed against the front controls on the stove and somehow was able to push the knob in enough that it could be turned. We didn't notice this and the burner was on and burned through our silicone mat that we had on top of the glass top, and onto a wicker trivet we had between the aluminum cooking pan and the silicone mat. We were taking the potatoes to a family lunch and were about to leave. It could have been disastrous. It should not be that easy to push in and turn on a control knob. I had to have just barely brushed it or I would have realized it. We definitely feel this is a safety issue with this stove. It is an LG brand, model LSEL6335F.

Incident: this will be my 3rd safety report on this LG model#LSEL6335F. 1st about the stupid recall resolution to apply a sticker so my dogs or children don't accidently bump the knobs and burn the house down. 2nd stovetop burner was set to low to heat leftovers it then decided to go to full on high by itself luckily i walked by and smelled the burning. 3rd after LG replaced the knobs now there is some sort of pulsating/vibration on all the knobs whenever the oven desires. all 3 incidents have been described as a safety issue from the LG representatives. i'm currently working with a LG presidential liaison, to resolve this but it's been a while and still nothing. i believe this deserves immediate attention due to the fire hazards. hopefully this oven hasn't cost any lives yet but it's just a matter of time. hopefully thanks for your help in this matter. please send a confirmation email to me. i would like a copy to prove that i have done everything i can to protect my family.
