SaferProducts.gov consumer incident report 20160106-2FF6D-2147425021. Severity: Unspecified. Matched catalog product: Toro Model 38452. Source model text: 38452. Incident: I purchased a Toro Power Clear 621 Snowblower from Home Depot in Fall, 2014. It is now leaking gasoline from the carburator. When I spoke with Toro about the issue, and referenced several other products they already had recalls on, they claim it's not an issue.

Government / agencyIndexed Oct 18, 2026Source-linkedVerify source — SaferProducts.gov incident

SaferProducts.gov consumer incident report 20170119-A4975-2147407869. Severity: Incident, No Injury. Product: Toro Model 38452 (Toro power 621E snowblower...model 38452 serial # 314009184). Incident: I own a toro power clear 621 E snowblower...this would have been my third season using it....two weeks ago we had our first substantial snowfall....I put fresh oil and fresh gas into the snowblower and it started right up....used it to clear my driveway and when I went back into garage with it...the smell of gas was so strong....I turned on the lights and there was gas coming out of the carburetor....I put a bucket under it , left the garage door open and went in the house and called a neighbor....he came over and pulled it out of the garage....now I have a hot engine and gas was leaking....I was terrified of a fire....I looked on the internet and saw toro had the exact problem in 2010 and issued a huge recall..I called toro and they said no recall was issued for my model and it was out of warranty and repairs were up to me....I used it for 2 seasons and that is the answer I got....this is a terrible safety issue and toro will not stand behind their products...it was purchased at Home Depot in January of 2014
