Owner complaint summary

Vehicle Information 2020 Jaguar E-PACE VIN: [XXX] Approx. mileage: 84,000 Component Affected: Powertrain / Cooling System / Engine Complaint Description: My 2020 Jaguar E-PACE began showing coolant-related warnings and mechanical issues around 60,000 miles. Despite professional servicing, the vehicle experienced a catastrophic failure at 84,000 miles. The vehicle is now completely inoperable and parked dead in my garage. Jaguar Land Rover provided contradictory instructions: they advised I visit a JLR retailer, but later questioned me for adding oil at a certified shop. Most concerning is that Ms. Jeane Meyer, Executive Liaison at JLR, closed the case without even offering an inspection or diagnostic. She told me I was “on my own” with the issue, showing complete disregard for customer safety or support. This is a major mechanical failure in a vehicle under 5 years old, and I believe it indicates a manufacturer defect. I am requesting NHTSA to investigate. INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)
