Incident: My friend was riding my 2022 American Landmaster L7 Trail UTV and it was not operating properly. It did not feel like it was running smoothly, then it made a clunking sound. So I pulled back into the roadway and started driving again. I did not drive Fifty (50) feet and another rider pulled up beside and me and yelled that my L7 was on fire. I immediately pulled off the roadway and turned my L7 off. It was smoking heavily coming from under the seat. My L7 is only a two (2) seat UTV. I lifted the seat forward and flames then came up beside the gas tank. The gas tank is located under the front seat on the passenger side. The flame was higher than the gas tank. A lot of people were stopping and I told them to get away from the L7 as it could explode. Someone got in my cooler that I had with me and poured a bottle of water and [REDACTED] on the fire and it put it out. The Renovo Fire Department and Police Department also came. [REDACTED]
