SaferProducts.gov consumer incident report 20111107-3D65C-2147473556. Matched catalog product: HP G60-127NR. Source model text: G60. Incident: I have an HP laptop and it has always gotten much hotter on the bottom than any other laptop I have had. I was told by our IT guy at work that HP has recalled laptop batteries and to check mine out as it is much hotter than it should be even with the riser underneath. I was told by HP that mine is not a recalled battery, but I can see they have had numerous recalls added to the original one. I wonder, does someone have to be injured before they add batteries like mine to the recall? Please let me know what I can do to get them to replace my battery before someone gets injured.
