The front camera overheats in ambient temperatures exceeding 70°F, causing the automatic emergency braking (AEB), cruise control, lane keep assist, automatic headlights, and automatic wipers to become disabled.

While traveling at approximately 70–80 mph in light drizzle with no prior warning lights, the vehicle suddenly entered an uncontrolled spin multiple times. A grinding noise was heard during the spin. After the vehicle stopped, brake and parking brake system warnings appeared on the dashboard. One injury was reported.

The backup camera stopped functioning, displaying a black screen when the vehicle was put into reverse. Approximately two weeks later, multiple dashboard warning lights appeared indicating malfunctions in the headlight system, pre-collision system, rear cross traffic alert, blind spot monitor, and lane tracing assist (LTA). No recalls exist for this specific vehicle, though similar issues have been reported on other vehicles of the same make and model with active recalls.
