I was driving on Octuber 8th 2025. At 50 mph and the car made a sudden hard brake stop, and the brake orage light came on, the light that only turns on when it detect a car or something in front of the vehicle, the thing is nothing was in front of the vehicle, I am lucky that I didn't have cars behind me if not it would have cause a read end accident. This is very dangerous and I am super scared to drive the car now.

While driving my 2023 Honda CR-V Hybrid at approximately 40-45 mph, the vehicle began hesitating and not accelerating smoothly. A Check Engine/Emissions System warning also appeared. The vehicle had approximately 31,873 miles. I took the vehicle to an authorized Honda dealership for diagnosis. The dealer recommended replacement of all fuel injectors and the spark plugs. The vehicle has not yet been repaired and the components remain available for inspection. I am concerned about the safety risk because the hesitation/loss of smooth power occurs while the vehicle is being driven and could affect the ability to accelerate normally in traffic. Honda has issued Service Bulletin 25-044 applicable to 2023-2024 CR-V Hybrid vehicles concerning leaking fuel injectors that can cause an excessively rich air/fuel mixture, foul spark plugs, illuminate the malfunction indicator lamp, and cause drivability problems. The repair procedure can include replacement of the fuel injectors and affected spark plugs. My vehicle has very low mileage for this type of fuel-system failure. I am reporting this incident so NHTSA can evaluate whether similar fuel injector failures and resulting drivability problems in 2023-2024 Honda CR-V Hybrid vehicles represent a broader safety defect.

In February 2025 with around 56k miles, started noticing a vibration which I thought was a wheel balancing issue. After having the wheels balanced multiple times. I also replaced the tires twice but the vibration still persists. I started noticing the vibration became more consistent at low speeds 20-23 mph. At this time I am now out of engine warranty. It felt like a bad torque converter, which this vehicle doesn’t have. I brought the vehicle to three different dealerships and they all said the car has no issues. At no point did the car throw a check engine light or code. About five days after visiting the last dealership in October 2025 I was headed to work. Once the engine kicks in there was a loud rattling noise coming from the engine for about 5 seconds then it went away. Now every time the car sits, the first time the engine kicks in is rattles for a few seconds. At no point there were any check engine lights. I took the car back to the dealership and the determined that the injectors and head gasket failed. Not having a check engine light coming on for this issue could have caused an accident if the engine stalled on the highway. Honda would not assist in anyway.

Car completely shut down with every warning light going off. Before 95,000 the head gasket blew with zero warning signs! All the warning lamps came on only the day the car totally stopped working. No prior warning or signs before.

My car is experiencing a failure of the shutter grill motor. It’s a motor that opens and closes the shutters to let air through a cooling radiator. The car is not getting hot. The shutters are fully open. I assume this is an energy efficiency mechanism. However: Since the motor is not working, and the shutters cannot adjust properly, the car is derating my power. THIS IS DANGEROUS. I cannot climb mountains on the interstate at proper speeds. I have also almost had a few wrecks trying to pull into traffic due to loss of power, thus acceleration. The computer is choosing to derate my power and acceleration, but it isn’t necessary. I would like to fix the issue, but it is expensive and I don’t have the money. Why would Honda punish me with dangerous conditions for my inability to pay for a fix on an energy efficiency issue!?!?

While driving at 40 mph experienced sudden unexpected braking (car on its own) without driver pressing brake and no immediate car in front or changing lanes or any other noticeable object in immediate path. It was dangerous and could have caused a rear end collision. luckily it was 40mph no cars too close behind and our infants were not in the car. please look into this further

Additionally, the steering wheel became difficult to turn in either direction. The vehicle was taken to a local dealer, where it was diagnosed that the steering rack needed replacement. The vehicle was not yet repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 48,000.

Vehicle was brought in for steering gearbox recall repair. After the recall was performed, the vehicle developed a loud thumping noise from the front passenger side. Upon returning to the dealer for diagnosis, the dealer found the passenger front wheel was missing 3 lug nuts and had only 1 lug nut holding the wheel on. The lug lock was also loose. The vehicle was driven at highway speeds in this condition. The dealer's own work order confirms these findings. The missing lug nuts were a direct result of the recall repair service.

I was driving my 2023 Honda CRV Hybrid on the [XXX] on Sunday, XXX. 5 minutes prior to reaching the interchange where the [XXX] connects to the [XXX], all of the lights on my dashboard flash on, but the car was still running. I got onto the [XXX] and prior to reaching the [XXX] exit, my car suddenly stops accelerating at full power. As I push on the accelerator, I can barely move my car. I pull over to the side of the highway and put my car in park. Quietly panicking (not to stress out my [XXX] old who was sleeping in the backseat), I put my car back in drive and see that I can slowly move forward. I get back onto the freeway and exit via the [XXX] exit. There is a park right there so I slowly circled around until I found a spot to park my car. I called AAA and they came and tested my battery and said there weren't any issues. They advised me not to drive my car anymore and called a tow, and brought my car to the Honda Dealership back near me home 45 minutes away. The dealership was closed, but they called me on Monday and said they would need to diagnose my car. I preferred that my mechanic take care of my car, so I had my car towed there instead. The issue he diagnosed is provided in the screenshots: "P2101 Electric Throttle Control System (ECTS) Malfunction". Both my mechanic and I looked online and there seems to be an open investigation into this (NHTSA ID 11556108) and when you look online, there are MANY other owners complaining about the same thing happening, some with much less miles on their car than mine. There is clearly an issue and something needs to be done. Having your car all of a sudden slow down drastically while driving on an extremely busy [XXX] highway with a [XXX] in your backseat was terrifying. Please investigate this further, I know I'm not the only one who has experienced this with the same model of car. Loss of power and control of vehicle after getting several malfunction errors on instrument panel. Vehicle estates that several safety controls are switched off until problem is resolved. Eventually vehicle resets itself and works fine for weeks.

the moon roof shattered as we were driving. luckily the inner sun shade was pulled. Crazy to have tempered glass above you. we could have not had that cover closed and glass could have rained down on us.

In early August 2025, driving on the highway with my car behaving entirely normally, my entire dashboard lit up-- all error lights, check engine, transmission, emissions, blind spot- everything. After reading on the internet a bit i read that there could have been a 12v battery power surge, and to disconnect and reconnect the battery. All lights cleared, car behaved normally. During the last week of August, my car began revving unreasonably high on a long drive (at the 300 mile point) and it seemed as though gears were slipping- I was hitting the gas to accelerate and the car was not accelerating equally. This is a huge safety concern- particularly when going uphill on a highway and the car can just barely make it up the hill (i'm basically flooring the gas) and also a safety concern when switching lanes- the power is not there. I went to the dealer immediately after this. The dealer ran error codes and found none (as no lights returned). The dealer checked my spark plugs and said they were worn and replaced them (which is unreasonable at 21,000 miles). The problem was not resolved. I have since gone to two additional Honda dealers and both told me there is nothing wrong with the car- because no error codes appeared. I believe these problems are related to the eCVT as others have reported, and believe that the recall needs to be expanded.

Battery overheats and emits visible smoke from positive terminal and strong sulfur (rotten egg) odor. Notices the problem a few days ago. Called AAA for assistance on Sunday August 23 and technician stated that a lot of Hondas have had this issue including his own and it is due to a recall. A search online shows a recall issued for approximately 98 2023 Honda crv hybrids for Electrical system: Propulsion system: Traction battery date 2024-10-02 Recall no. 24V745000 Honda (American Honda Motor Co.) is recalling certain 2023 Honda CR-V Hybrid vehicles. The high voltage battery modules may have been manufactured incorrectly, which can cause the battery terminal or busbar to break and spark.

My car has been making noises and no checks engine light for about 4 weeks now. It has started on October 19, 2025 and tomorrow will make 1 month. The noise starts when I press the brakes and when I drive. When merging on highways the car would delay start when I press the gas and then it’ll jump or stutter twice before moving which is dangerous because I’m merging on to highways. I’ve been to several shops and they’ve all told me it’s the transmission and I will need a complete new one. I continued driving my car because I have no way getting to and from work and today November 15, 2025, it broke down while on the highway with my daughter and husband in the car. I had to wait for my car to decide to start moving while others behind me swerved into the other lane because of the sudden stop all while hoping no one would crash into us. It turned on and we were able to move off to the side slowly and again it shut off. The check engine light finally came on and when the tow truck came the guy inspected the vehicle and said what everyone else said there is a transmission problem and it popped up and said something about the transmission and the brake system. As far as the brakes the mechanics said the brake hardware is rubbing against the rotor on the front left side and I can’t brake hard while driving or it’ll make a loud noise or a hard sudden stop. I have to press lightly and way ahead of time so that I don’t run into any issues. When searching online I saw that 2023 Honda Crvs do have transmission problems and it’s happened to several others. The sudden stops, noises, and complete replacement of their transmission. Plenty of others had it covered by warranty but what about the others that don’t have warranty. I have not replaced my transmission as of yet because the mechanics I usually go to is closed on weekends so I will be waiting until Monday. This is dangerous and crazy and Honda needs to do a major recall before someone actually gets hurt.

MY 2023 Honda CRV sport hybrid has an issue, I guess it’s transmission. When I go for long drives, after driving an hour or hour an half in highway, it seemed like, transmission stuck. Even though I escalated my gas pedal and car is on around 50mph, the car speed doesn’t go up even though rpm is hitting on 75 to 80. It’s dangerous to drive in highway where speed limit is 65 mph and my car is going 50 mph. I went to dealer but they can’t figure out the issue. I face same issue in multiple times.

The windshield wipers do not clear the windshield completely and the reversing point for the drivers side wiper is inconsistent, leaving a wide uncleared gap of varying widths. Honda dealership says this is normal and will no repair the wipers.

I own a 2023 Honda CR-V EX-L 1.5L turbo. My vehicle has repeatedly displayed an “Active Grille Shutter System Problem” warning while driving. Diagnostic trouble code P16E8 has also been associated with the active grille shutter system. The problem has occurred multiple times, particularly during hot weather and while driving on steep grades. When the active grille shutter warning occurs, the vehicle can go into reduced-power mode, significantly limiting its performance. Turning the vehicle off and restarting it may temporarily clear the warning and restore normal operation, but the problem can return. The vehicle has not been overheating when this occurs. I am concerned because unexpectedly entering reduced-power mode while driving, especially on a highway or steep grade, could create a safety hazard. I am reporting this issue so NHTSA can document and investigate whether there is a recurring defect involving the active grille shutter system on 2023 Honda CR-V vehicles and determine whether a safety recall or other action is warranted.

On 12/19/2025 my car was parked at my place of work between 12pm and 1pm my back window suddenly shattered from the middle of the window. I have seen other reports of Honda HRV having the same issues as well as some other CRV owners from recalls for HRV and online forums of CRV owners reporting the same issue with sudden back window combustion. I contacted Honda and several different departments to report this.

The automatic braking system is activating automatically without any warning or any interference even though there is no vehicle or object in front it is happening all of a sudden and it a serious safety hazard and could cause major accident it is life threatening and I am very scared to drive it a life and death situation please look into this matter and have Honda fix this issue before it causes and deaths.

I purchased this vehicle in November 2025. There was an existing recall remedy under NHTSA 24V-744. In December 2025 I took my vehicle to Brickell Honda to have the official steering gearbox safety recall performed. However, the dangerous "sticky" and binding steering sensation remained. On July 30, 2026, the dealership diagnosed the car and confirmed that the entire power steering rack is bad and must be replaced at a cost of over $4,400.00. The dealership offered a 50% goodwill split, leaving me with a $2,251.00 out-of-pocket expense. I formally declined the 50% offer, and I requested that Honda Corporate cover 100% of the parts and labor to replace the steering rack. The initial recall remedy failed to resolve the safety hazard in my vehicle.

The manufacturer was notified of the failure and opened a case. The failure mileage was approximately 30,000.

Key Issues & Symptoms Sticky/Resistant Steering: The primary symptom is the steering wheel feeling like it "sticks" or requires extra force to move from the center position, especially when driving straight on the highway, creating a dangerous lurch or jerkiness when trying to change lanes. Knocking Noises: Some owners report a knocking or metal-on-metal sound from the steering, even after initial recall service. Steering Instability: After repairs, some vehicles still suffer from significant alignment issues (caster/camber imbalance) that affect handling and cornering stability.

The wiper blades fail to go to the edge of the window on the driver's side. It leaves a gap of about 2-3 inches from the edge of the window pillar uncleaned. In heavy rain or snow/ice or in the case of cleaning a dirty windshield, this gap limits the driver's visibility while driving. Also, having the windshield wiper fluid come out of the blades rather than spraying directly onto the windshield is useless as the fluid comes out while the wipers are half way up and fluid then gets pushed off the windshield and flows down the driver's side window again affecting the driver's visibility.

Steering was fixed in October 2023 we had purchased car in May of that year. The issue has returned except it feels now like the steering is moving on its own. This is the first time since repair this issue was noticed. This is very concerning. I have notified Honda. Dealer to date has not seen car they want to charge me to examiner vehicle which is still under warranty, which is why I called Honda. I told dealer I was concerned enough not to want to drive vehicle.

On my 2023 Honda CR-V with 79,567 miles, the engine experienced a cylinder 1 misfire while driving, causing the vehicle to lose power and enter limp mode. At the same time, every warning light on the dashboard illuminated. The vehicle has been inspected by the Honda dealership but has not been inspected by police, insurance representatives, or any other parties. Prior to this incident, there were no warning lights or messages indicating a problem.

Vehicle: 2023 Honda CR-V Hybrid Sport Touring (OEM headlights; no aftermarket lighting modifications) Issue Type: Exterior Lighting – Headlights (low-beam performance/visibility) Description of Problem: I am submitting a safety complaint regarding the low-beam headlights on my 2023 Honda CR-V Hybrid Sport Touring. The low beams provide poor foreground illumination and create a distinct dark area directly in front of the vehicle. In real-world nighttime driving, the beam pattern leaves an obvious “dead zone”/shadowed region in the near-field (close to the front of the car), which reduces my ability to see road hazards, debris, pedestrians/animals, and lane-edge detail in time to react safely. The problem is most noticeable on unlit roads and in wet conditions, where the lack of usable light in the foreground makes it difficult to judge road surface changes and identify objects near the vehicle’s path. The cutoff/beam pattern appears abnormal in that the area immediately ahead is not properly lit despite the headlights being on and functioning. This is not related to dirty lenses, aftermarket bulbs, or modifications. Safety Impact: This headlight performance issue reduces forward visibility at night and increases the risk of a collision because hazards in the roadway may not be visible until the vehicle is very close. The dark zone in front of the vehicle is consistent and repeatable, not an occasional flicker or intermittent failure. Low-Speed Navigation: When making turns into unlit driveways or onto dark side streets, the area where the vehicle is turning remains pitch black, making it impossible to see pedestrians, cyclists, or road obstacles. Object Avoidance: At highway speeds, the "dark zone" prevents the driver from seeing road debris or potholes until they are directly under the vehicle, leaving zero time for evasive maneuvers. Headlights are original equipment and the vehicle has not been modified.

The vehicle was backed into a parking spot in the last row of a parking lot; no one would be behind the vehicle. It was parked for 2 days and upon returning to it, the rear window was broken. A hole about the size of 2 fists was present, along with a horizontal crack from the hole to the edge of the frame. Up until this break, there was no indication of any issue with the window/glass.

While driving on the freeway in the rain (on 2/19/2026), my vehicle started braking of its own accord. Emergency brake lights flashed on the dash board and the vehicle came to a full stop while traffic was moving on the freeway. [There had been previous incidents of warning "Brake" lights flashing without cause, never a sudden stop; spontaneous]. During my <15 mile commute, the vehicle did this x5 times. After the 4th incident, a new pop up warning appeared: "Collision Mitigation braking system problem. See your dealer. " I took a photo of this warning light and drove to the closest dealership. The unwarranted braking problem happened again while on the freeway. When I arrived at the dealership, at first they said "there's no problem. " I showed them the photo, they reluctantly checked in my vehicle for diagnostics and informed me that I would have to pay for the diagnostician. The safety of myself and other California drivers was put at risk by this malfunctioning braking system. I was unable to over ride a warning, the vehicle braked unexpectedly in the middle of the freeway. Mossy Honda dealership did not offer me a loaner vehicle nor a ride home. When I asked, I was told that they might be able to rent a vehicle to me if someone was still around to do so. Cost =$50/ day. I lost a day of work to deal with this issue. I had to call the dealership for an update. The vehicle was inspected by a certified Honda technician at Mossy Honda of Lemon Grove. The technician informed me that Honda's policy is to realign the system. The honda technician asked if the vehicle was recently hauling a heavy load that could have ruined the alignment. I have not. It seems the dealership wants to blame me for this safety issue. If there are follow up issues, I am advised to return to the dealership for assistance. The dealership did not offer a ride, nor apologies. They have not provided an updated Cost estimate for this alignment or any needed follow up repairs.

Yesterday, Thursday February 29, 2026, the steering wheel and/or lane assist feature of my 2023 Honda CRV Sport Hybrid seemed to try to force my car over a cliff on a mountain road. I was driving from Crystal Mountain Ski Resort in Washington state returning to my home in Seattle WA when the steering wheel of my Honda seemed to stiffened or lock up at a curve in Crystal Mountain Blvd several miles from the ski resort. At the curve in the road I needed to turn left to avoid driving over a steep mountain embankment and the steering wheel required unusual force to turn left. Steering was problematic for the next 40 miles on State Route 410 driving northwest toward Enumclaw WA. I had to fight the steering wheel continuously as it seemed to direct the car left and right when the path of the road was straight. Unusual force was needed to control the steering. It felt like the car was being forced by the steering to move in directions that did not follow the course of the road. There was a sense of lack of control of the steering wheel, and in the instance of the curve in the road coming down the mountain, it felt like the car was trying to drive over a cliff. It was a sense of loss of control, and that the car was by itself driving off the road.

ON FEB172026, I PULLED IN MY DRIVEWAY AND CAR STEERING WOULD NOT TURN AND HIT MY PROPERTY.IT CAUSED EXTENSIVE DAMAGE TO MY PROPERTY POLICE REPORT WAS MADE AND CAR END UP IN BODY SHOP. STEERING WHEEL LOCKED AND CAR WOULD NOT TURN. FRONT END IS COMPLETELY DAMAGE.

Wiper fluid is not disbursed from wiper blades until blades are in full LEFT swipe position. No fluid is disbursed on the way up to that left position, so all fluid from driver side wiper blades goes off the side of windshield or just pools there. Very little fluid from the passenger side blade goes onto windshield in front of driver. There is no way to get fluid on passenger side of windshield, since fluid comes from top of blade, which is pointing left in straight up position when fluid is disbursed. This is a terrible design. I run out of fluid frequently and cannot see to drive is messy, Ohio winters. This happens each time I use the wiper fluid, not just on the random January date I selected.

The vechicle was in an accident were it went off the road into grassy area. Hitting several street signs and a power transformer. The safety features automatic braking or lane keep assistance did not engage. The driver tried to brake the car did not stop nor did it seem to slow down by the distance it traveled. The car is possiblity a total loss, currently under review by insurance company. There were 2 passenger in the vechicle during the accident. Driver and toddler in the rear. Police did come out to the scene. Insurance representative are going through thier claim process.the accident was 2 days ago. All safety feature prior to the accident were opperating proper to my knowledge. I would like to request the black box from the accident to gather more information on what may have happened. Insuarance companies is not going to obtain it.

Windshield wipers have inconsistent force causing it to hit the pillars of of the driver side periodically. Damage could occur to both the arm and the vehicle frame due to repeated impact. Visibility is also affected since the wiper does not clear all of the rain water and causes chattering.

car drove completely fine and on the dash all of a sudden, there was a warning for the brakes system malfunctioning while on the road saying a collision could occur, and the vehicle had about 5% of the braking power it should, and it almost caused an accident.

The driver assist system was flashing for over an hour when I was coming back to Ohio from Florida on [XXX]. It was flashing and for a few seconds it would go off. this happened a few times and then it busted stayed on. it said to take to dealer to get fixed. this happened about a year ago put only flashed on for a short time. There must be a problem with this system that Honda has. I have done some research and it seems this is a Honda problem with the CR-V. I have a 2023 CR-V. The Transmission mount failed and the transmission was loose and clunking around in the vehicle when I applied the breaks and occasionally when I accelerated. The car has less than 50K miles and the transmission mount should not fail. There was no accident or rust and no reason for it to fail. I believe it is a safety hazard that Honda should do a recall or at least cover the cost of the repair.

After filling up with fuel my vehicle wreaks of gasoline fumes for hours in the passenger compartment. There are no warning lights or open recalls. Issue is common it looked up online. This started about a year after owning the vehicle.

Woke up at [XXX] [XXX] to neighbor banging on door and yelling your car is on fire. Vehicle is parked in front driveway, front part of the car where engine is ablazed. Neighbor said he heard "pops" like firecrackers/gunshot when he went to look out his window the fire was reflected on the fence across the car. I did google search for possible fire causes and search returned with Recall notice for fuel pump, battery and battery cladding on model. Contacted Honda but Aileen just promised to send inspector for joint inspection with USAA inspector but hasn't been responsive to call or emails for follow up. Fortuntaely, didn't park in the garage or we would have been burned down with the house also quite fortunate that car was driving on the road. Vehicle is being inspected by insurance USAA and will get report on insurance details with AMERICAN HONDA not responding to Report Case #[XXX] they keep fobbing me off by asking to call back 1-800-999-1009 x 88146 or email ahmcustomersupport@ahm.honda.com. This is regarding the earlier recall where drivers can feel a clicking noise in steering wheel, I did my recall year ago and this issue is resurfacing again. I reported this to dealer this week and I was said they will replace the parts since it's under warranty. But I wanted to report this issue. Is there a permanent fix?

Hood vibrates noticeably above 55-60 mph and during car wash drying. It is too obvious that it seems that at some point hood might be dislocated.

Car lost power with catastrophic engine failure with no warning as I was turning into a busy intersection with oncoming traffic. Had it towed 3hrs to Southaven Honda.indicated it was a blown head gasket . They said it loosing power was warning sign. No warning lamps prior to the incident. The vehicle was in the dealership two weeks before and there was no indication from the dealership that I was low on coolant or it was degraded.

I was driving along I-20/59 Northbound approaching Bessemer, Al near or between mile marker 102-104. Suddenly I heard a “pop” sound coming from behind me and noticed in my rear view mirror the rear windshield had a small hole in it. I had just merged into the far left passing lane when this occurred and then proceeded to merge to exit onto Exit 104 (McAshan Dr./ McCalla). As I continued to drive glass began to shatter and the hole expanded. I was initially startled and afraid because I didn’t know what was happening. Once I exited, I parked at the Flying J truck stop and exited the vehicle to further assess. I called my parents and then a Bessemer Police officer to file a report. I’m not certain if something hit my windshield, if this is the result of a manufacturing malfunction, or other unknown occurrence due to external factors.

The vehicle’s forward collision avoidance and adaptive cruise control radar sensor is mounted directly behind a plastic front emblem that can be removed in seconds without tools. This design allows easy theft of the radar unit, which immediately disables Honda Sensing safety systems including collision mitigation braking, adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning, and lane keeping assistance. Theft of this component renders federally marketed safety systems inoperable and results in dashboard warnings and loss of active safety features. Replacement and required recalibration costs are extremely high, commonly reported between $1,500 and $2,500. This issue is caused by exposed placement and lack of theft deterrence for a critical safety component, not by vehicle misuse or modification. Similar thefts are being reported by other owners, indicating a widespread design vulnerability that allows essential safety systems to be disabled through simple theft.

2023 CR-V Sport Hybrid suffered a catastrophic cylinder 3 coolant leak/head gasket failure at 76,884 miles. Due to a lack of available Honda gasket kits and extreme dealership repair quotes, a full engine replacement was required.

I was driving in Houston and I tried to turn left to avoid someone hitting me from the back do to a slow down and I couldn’t turn left my gear was too stiff to turn. I got hit from behind and it turn into a hit and run. That affected me a lot due to the hurt and lack of work due to it all became behind and I am still suffering from that accident. I informed Honda and requested a buy back and help with the damages and losses but they denied the help and have affected my credit because since that accident it has been very hard for me to manage because of the recovery process.

This complaint is a formal report of a FAILED RECALL REMEDY regarding NHTSA Campaign 24V-744 (Honda TSB 24-052) on a 2023 Honda CR-V (VIN: [XXX]). The official recall remedy (worm gear spring replacement and grease application) was previously performed and marked as completed on this VIN. However, the vehicle is actively exhibiting a complete reoccurrence of the exact severe safety defect described in the recall. At highway speeds, the steering wheel exhibits sudden "sticky," binding resistance, requiring increased physical effort to turn, which leads to immediate overcorrection and a severe crash hazard. The vehicle was taken to an authorized Honda dealership for diagnosis of the recurring symptom. The dealership service department confirmed there was an issue and recommended a total steering rack replacement. American Honda Corporate has refused to cover the replacement, claiming a "steering rack" is separate from the recall scope. However, the defective worm gear targeted by Campaign 24V-744 is located entirely within the steering gearbox, which is structurally integrated into the steering rack assembly. The manufacturer's remedy has failed to permanently cure the safety defect on this vehicle, leaving it unpredictable and dangerous to operate. The honda dealer states that the clip/ brackt that holds the multi view camera has broken. There is no damaged to the windshield or housing of the camera, the clip just failed and they could not tell me why. The vehicle has never been in any accident and has never had any damage. Adaptive cruise, cruise control, auto high beam, lane keep assist, Road departure, object detection, collision mitigation, traffic jam assistance, Sign recognition, and low speed braking control are not functioning as a result. Car is displaying multiple error messages. The honda dealer inspected and confirmed all the effective systems because the camera not being properly secure to the windshield by the broken clip.

While driving on the freeway, a helium balloon entered the lane and triggered the vehicle's forward collision avoidance system to apply maximum braking autonomously, causing tire screeching. No dashboard warning, alert sound, or driver notification was given. The accelerator was unresponsive for several seconds afterward, creating a rear-end collision risk.

The steering wheel intermittently becomes hard to turn, similar to the resistance applied when lane assist is active during a lane change. This occurs even when the lane assist feature is turned off, suggesting unintended interaction between the steering system and the lane departure system.

While slowing down to enter a parking space and applying the brakes, the car suddenly surged forward, causing it to jump a curb. The incident could have resulted in an accident had another vehicle been present.
