Source model text: WA52M7750AV/A4. Incident: I purchased a samsung top load washer in late 2018 Model number WA52M7750AV/A4 serial number 0F5H5DDKA02555P after I had it a year the right corner of the lid where it connects to the washer popped up and wouldn't pop back into place. This broke and cracked the lid. Now the left corner has done exactly the same thing. I use my washer on a daily basis. And I have only had it about 2 years. Nothing has been put on top of the washer and the lid stays shut when not in use. There is no logical reason for this to have happened. This is the 2nd samsung product purchased in the last five years that I have had issues with. I love this washer but dont feel I should have to replace the lid after only 2 years. For the amount of money that I paid for the machine I feel that it should last longer than 2 years before having to repair or replace. I could understand if it was an electrical part, I know things happen and they tear up but this is unacceptable.

First one made all kind of weird noises and since it was within 30 days replaced it.Also told the rep. that it was banging at high speeds and that the tub was so loose that I was having to run it at low speeds to keep the washer from sounding like it was going to fly off. My washer has all the same problems the other washers have but she said call a repairman and hung up.

I purchased the washer at Home Depot in [REDACTED]on July 6, 2014 and had it delivered to my summer home in [REDACTED] on July 28, 2014. At the time of the recall announcement last November, there wasn't much I could do about it except to register with Samsung, because I was already in [REDACTED], my state of residency. When I spoke to someone at Samsung, I asked how long I had to request a rebate. I was told they would kindly extend my deadline to June 1, 2017. Later, I read on the paperwork they sent me that I really have until next November, one year after the recall announcement!

Source model text: WA45H7000AW A2 04. Incident: My Samsung washing machine that was previously recalled and supposedly fixed basically almost blew up. The whole metal frame bent during a wash cycle, along with the top of the washing ejecting from the secured bottom. Luckily a screw kept the whole thing from flying off. I was using the product and truly thought a car had hit our house with how much it shook and the noise it made. No injuries luckily. I have contacted Samsung and no one will call back. They will text and basically told me to run a rinse cycle to see if the noise happened again. I told them my washing machine practically ejected and blew up and that was impossible. They then told me after I had asked to speak with someone over the phone multiple times that this is not possible. And also said the recall was settled. Clearly it wasnt fixed. I finally got a service request out and it said someone would contact me in 2 business days. 5 business days later no contact and an email saying my service request was cancelled. This washer could do serious injury or damage if the 1-2 screws did not re secure the top down. Instead it just bent the whole frame.

Incident: Samsung HE washer vibrates and shakes tremendously. It is on the list of recalls. I called Samsung today and tried to get information from them. Their customer service rep spoke broken English and was very hard to understand. Since this washer has already thrown items off and hit my foot I am not going to keep it. It is my understanding I will take a substantial loss (from the rep) if I do not replace with a Samsung model. I am not sure how the washer will be disposed of. I asked that question and the rep could not answer. My washer was bought a year ago and has only been used a couple of months. This is a second home that we own and we live here four months of the year.

Source model text: WA45H7000AW/A2. Incident: We purchased a new Samsung washer and dryer in April 2016 at Best Buy. We were in need of a new washer and decided to go with this particular Samsung set. Even after hearing reports where some Samsung washers have exploded and caused property damage and even bodily harm. I called Best Buy to ask about this issue at which point they stated not to be aware of any issues. I then called Samsung to ask the same question and was told they were not aware of such issue. I had seen news reports where this issue was reported but none in Texas where I reside. In November 2016, Samsung officially recalled several of their washing machines due to excessive vibration or the top detaching from the chassis. In some cases reports of property damage and serious injuries have occurred. After discovering our washer was on the recall, we were terribly concerned about our safety. The remedy offered by Samsung is a free home repair or a rebate toward the purchase of a new Samsung washer. After much research I have found that Samsung is sending a DirectTV technician to make this repair and in many cases the repair fixes nothing. Samsung states to give you an additional one year warranty on the washer which I think is still not good enough. The second option is a rebate toward a new Samsung washer which is not enough to cover the purchase of a replacement. They give you the option of purchasing a different brand washer but they will give you a much lower rebate amount. We are a single income family o

SaferProducts.gov consumer incident report 20170117-69346-2147407957. Matched catalog product: Samsung destroyed in fire. Most likely WA45H7000AW or WA52. Source model text: WA45H7000AW. Incident: I purchased a Samsung topload washer and dryer set in July of 2015. On December 29, 2016 after a couple of small loads of laundry the washer Model WA457000AW began violently slamming against the dryer and surrounding walls. I stopped the cycle and checked the load to reset it in case it was off balance... the clothes were evenly dispersed and way below the recommended max load size. Upon restarting the spin cycle to finishing drying them, the motor would power up but the drum would not spin until 3 to 4 minutes in and then the drum began slamming inside the housing again. Upon finding the unit was recalled, I found hundreds of reviews of shoddy repairs being done by Dish Network employees contracted by Samsung.. simply adding a bracket to keep the lid from blowing off... not fixing the stripped motor and drum, mold and mildew, broken housing or glass lid, or damaged property. I also learned we are being told to affix a COVER UP LABEL over the control panel to trick us into washing bedding and bulky loads on DELICATE by way of placing this sticker over the old controls. THIS IS NOT ALLOWING US TO USE THESE MACHINES AS ADVERTISED, IMPLIED, OR INTENDED. I WAS SOLD A MACHINE ADVERTISED AS A LARGE CAPACITY WASHER WITH VIBRATION REDUCTION TECHNOLOGY CAPABLE OF WASHING BULKY ITEMS AND BEDDING WITHOUT COMPROMISING THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE MACHINE, THE INTEGRITY OF MY HOME, MY PETS SAFETY, MY SAFETY AND MY FINANCES

SaferProducts.gov consumer incident report 20150523-9DFDC-2147432692. Severity: Incident, No Injury. Matched catalog product: Samsung destroyed in fire. Most likely WA45H7000AW or WA52. Source model text: WA45H7000AW. Incident: Purchased a Samsung top loading washing machine, model # WA45H7000AW at Lowe's on March 14, 2015. On Thursday, May 21, 2015 at approximately 6:35 AM, there were two explosions from this machine that were felt across my entire house. The first one I did not attribute to the cause of a washing machine as I never would have imagined that and thought it was some terrible thunder outside as I'd heard a weather prediction of that the previous day. Just 5 minutes later, my daughter was in our kitchen which is on the other side of the wall from the laundry room and was able to tell us that the explosion sound we'd just heard again came from that room. Upon inspection, we discovered our washer had indeed exploded not once, but twice! Very unsafe! We were so thankful no one had been in the room or that the damage to existing property wasn't worse. The percussion blew containers of yard chemicals off of the wash sink (we'd recently been putting [REDACTED] in the yard to kill off weeds and used the slop sink to mix it), anyway those two jugs were blown off the counter and onto the floor. There was a huge dent put into the side of our dryer and water and washing machine parts all over the floor. I researched my model online as I'd only read previously reviews on the store's website which had been good and found another report on Amazon.com review of this same model also exploding. Samsung needs to recall this item and find a fix to repair the issue before continuing to sell these dangerou

Incident: I am contacting you to formally report a serious safety incident involving a Samsung top-load washing machine that appears to have caused a house fire.
