Incident: Ok, I have to share this because I have several scented-wax warmers (mine are Scentsy) and had no idea how dangerous they could be. Last week my 2-year-old niece [REDACTED] was chasing her kitty under the kitchen table and got tangled in the Scentsy cord that was plugged in. The Scentsy tipped over, and the wax spilled and ran off the table onto [REDACTED] 's neck and back. She has 2nd and 3rd degree burns on her scalp, neck and back, which may need skin grafting in order to heal. She will certainly be scarred. In many of the Scentsy faq's it says "The wax temperature is very low, just above body temperature. The wax never gets hot enough to burn anyone so it is completely safe around pets and kids." I put the candy thermometer in mine just to see how hot it was and it read 140 degrees F. That's hot enough to cause 3rd degree burns in 5 seconds. There needs to be warnings about burns on the Scentsy warmers like there are on some other brands.

I wanted the exact make and model of the windows displayed at the store. I received the windows on 09/14/13 and had the windows delivered and the windows were installed the same day. Upon inspection of the installed windows I noticed sharp edges and unfinished handle of the windows. I lifted and opened one window and upon doing so cut my finger. I was alarmed to see the edges very sharp and unfinished. I inspected the other windows and found the same defect. I was alarmed and disturbed by the findings. All of the windows had sharp edges on either end of the window. Meaning the lip(overhang)in which of the window that is used to open the window on either end is very sharp and unfinished. I went to the HomeDepot store to file a complaint and was told I had to call "American Craftsman" because the special order instructions were not followed. I called American Crafsman on 09/30/13 and spoke to the first person and was told that it was not a model defect and that this matter is not an issue and cannot be solved. Incident: Sears 46" riding lawn mower. When blade activation is moved to off the blades stop, but when I lift the box height adjustment the blades turn on. I purchased first one in Feb. 2015. Had this issue as well as mower stopped working so I returned the mower to Sears. I told them of this safety issue. I received a new mower, same model, and used but again had this safety issue happen again. In April 2016 the mower again stopped working. I again told Sears of this safety issue and they offered to have a service repair done. I am waiting to take with this service repair person. Iwhen this issue first happened I did nothe know the blades had reactivated when I moved the height adjustment. When I drive to put the mower in my shed, a mat I had on the ground was shred up by the moving blades. This is a dangerous situation.

Incident: We were dispatched to a home to investigate a possible structure fire. Upon our arrival, we found a SUPCO SCM 150 surge protection device was the cause. While we did not witness active flames, the failure of the device produced sufficient heat to melt the casing of the device as well as inflict thermal damage on an approximate 1 square foot of siding around the unit. There was a smoke stain above the device and the contents of the device were described as dripping out. There was no extension to the underlayment board beneath the siding. Approximate damages not including loss of the surge protector were 200 dollars.

Fire Marshall said fan or electric caused it. My electric was fine. It was inspected on Oct. 6th, 2012 whn I bought the home. I had electricial examined after the fire. NOTHING out of the ordinary. 2 electritions examined fan motor & stated it was causd of fire. Motor seized up. My Attorney [REDACTED] on [REDACTED] [REDACTED] contacted CamAir on Oct.5. They retained Attorney [REDACTED] in GR. [REDACTED] Their Attorney asked 2 view photos & fan motor & said a engineer would bout 2 c it. That was Oct.26th ...no one came. My Attorney sent a notice that they had till Nov.16 to view. As of today, no response has been heard. I am asking. fo $ 25,000.00. I am seeking help from u. They r 16 complaints/ from 4 web sites that state conse had melting ....smoking..and fire from these fans since Feb. 2012. MY Attorney has motor...photos and those complaints. This company needs investigatexd b 4 someone is killed. PLEASE HELP.
